Excellent wine & tasting room location with outdoor patio - and bocce ball court. Bring your picnic and enjoy it on their patio. Reservations required and can be done online.

What a delightful winery! We were recommended to try it, and weren't disappointed. The staff was friendly, accommodated our group of eight, and poured some delicious wines. We got a bit of a history lesson in the process. If you like pinot noir and want to expand your range, this is the place. They also have a good selection of whites to try.

Wine tasting in Taft Street's tasting room was a summer stand-out. These folks really made us feel at home, and their wines go down really well. We enjoyed a picnic on their fenced-in patio under the shade umbrellas. Beyond the parking lot you can see the proverbial start-up garage which was deservedly soon outgrown.

Questions & Answers

I have a 3L 1994 Taft Street Sonoma Couny Chardonnay in wood shipping box signed by John Tierney. Is this rare?

Lori McMillon | Aug 26, 2020

Hi Lori! John Tierney was the founding winemaker for Taft Street and we did a few of the large formats each vintage in the 90s for gifts and auctions. As for the wine, we really don't know how well the wine aged, there's probably not many of these around. It's always fun to open large bottles with friends, but since we don't know how it will turn out with such old vintages, we recommend a few backup bottles just in case! Cheers!

Are you open for business? Were you affected by flood?

Hi Carol, we're open for business! We were fortunate, our winery wasn't affected by the flooding. Swing by anytime! - Cheers, Jake
