Good cheap parking, employees are quick and efficient, any packages I send out have always gotten where they need to.

EXTREMELY grateful for this postal office. I had a massive issue with a delivery because my sender messed up my address. Got through to the office and spoke to Sterling who was so helpful and dispatched for someone to go grab the package from the mailbox and gave it to my receptionist for me!

I had 3 people ahead of me at 1:00pm, with 2 windows open, and was in-and-out within 10 minutes. I had to send a letter quickly via priority mail, and the postal worker was prompt, helpful and refunded me for the two stamps I had placed on the envelope.

It’s your neighborhood Post Office, the people aren’t that friendly in line most days (because of the lines), but the lines move quickly. The service is AMAZING!!!! Very helpful even the postmaster Manager has come out to assist!!! KUDOS USPS wish all your branches could run this efficient👍🏾

How do I change address?

saintaple | Aug 27, 2019
Gary Stein | Aug 27, 2019

Very easily. There are forms in the lobby for that. Just fill out your name, old address, new address, and if the change is for an individual or the whole family. Then just hand to one of the clerks, or give it to your mail person. By the way, the form also includes some discount coupons for local businesses.

It's in the back of post office in the dock area. Take Bakman Street from Chandler and turn down alley behind the post office.

Is this a reliable location to collect parcel from General Delivery? Does this specific facility friendly lose parcel, even when the tracking info shows a successful delivery?

Jonathan Smith | Aug 27, 2018

At this location, parcel misplacement is very infrequent. The Post Master would be too embarrassed to accept that responsibility. It has occurred, and the Post Master went into denial and refusal at all extents. If anything has to escalate in any way at all, it becomes blatantly obvious that the Los Angeles Postal Service is facilitated by, well, how else can I say this....I'll just say Angelenos. For the most part, everything comes in. However, there are major glitches disregarded into the processes and systems of mail organization amongst all the Los Angeles postal services. Just take a look at the employee's level of awareness and note their level of (lack of) proactiveness at each moment of a glitch. Intelligent and responsible employees correct glitches at the very moment of any such occurrence. Work ethic in LA is on par with that of a fast food chain, at best. As with everything else in Los Angeles, there is always plentiful room for improvement and proactive assertiveness.
