We’ve been in the Chesapeake area for 3 years, moved from New York, and haven’t found a true NY pizza place until we found Ray’s. I Finally Found a Real NY Style Pizza place in Hamptonroads! Funny thing is I'd been driving by the place for 3 years. You would never even know it's there, unless you accidentally passed by it and then you'd probably drive right by it thinking it was just another mom and pop pizza place. You'd be wrong. While it is definitely mom and pop, it's not just another pizza spot. Ray's Pizza is great tasting genuine NY Style Pizza that you have to eat right out of the oven to fully enjoy, so be ready to sit down and eat a couple slices before you even leave the store. Ray the owner is Brooklyn to the core and his Pizza is Brooklyn all the way! Do yourself a favor and go get a pie today!
