First visit, we had a 16" Pepperoni and it was delicious. There are not many pizza places in this Tidewater area that really have good pizza but i was thoroughly impressed with Gino's Portsmouth. The price is very good considering the rising prices we have seen for any kind of dine in or take out food. The 3 people that were in the front of the house were very friendly and the pizza was prepared quickly. Congrats on a very very good pizza! We will definitely be back! Well Done!

Wonderful authentic Sicilian food right here in Portsmouth. Best pizza around. Everything made fresh. Quaint clean little place. Understandably short-staffed. The wait is very well worth it.

I'll give it three stars because the staff and delivery driver are all polite. I ordered the grilled chicken salad, it was cut into large pieces and the chicken was very hard. I will not order that again.

We read the reviews and decided to try it out. I'm from Brooklyn and have been searching for a local pizza shop. I don't know what's the deal with pizza down here claiming to be like NY pizza. Have they tried NY pizza at-tall? The cheese should stretch when you bite the slice. It didn't look bad but it doesn't stretch like real mozzarella cheese at all. This place let us down so the search continues. Is there a sale on cheap cheese or something!? It wasn't the worst pizza but probably won't be back. Maybe you'll like it.
