This is one of the smaller trail heads into the salt springs. The trail head itself is extremely easy to access. The trail was beautiful and before I knew it I was gazing into a Florida jungle. In all it’s a small loop and an amazing get away just off of the highway.

This is this trailhead for around a half mile loop. The trail is mostly shaded. Not much to see but a nice stroll through the woods. Paying for access also gives you a day pass for the main park 2 miles down the road. At the main park there are more trails. Dog friendly. Bathrooms and small pavilion with a grill available.
