My kids and I went there for lunch today. They were so excited. It was empty. There were 2 tables inside occupied and maybe a handful occupied outside. They told me it would be 10 minutes before we were seated (rudely might I add). No problem. 10 minutes later, a kid working came to tell us it would be 45 minutes because there was 1 cook in the kitchen. I asked if we could be seated and get drinks, we didn’t mind the wait on the food. She said no. Nobody was getting seated because there’s only 1 cook. There were plenty of waiters sitting around, walking around and carrying on with each other. I will never go back, which is sad because my kids enjoy watching the boats. Poor or no management. No regard to customers. I guess proper ownership is lacking as well.

Ok- we were in Charleston for a soccer tournament. We had 2 teams of players and parents looking for a place to eat together. Well…..we called Mountain Pie Co and they had it all under control. 60 people you say??? No big deal. See you soon. We arrived to a buffet of hot pizza, pepperoni rolls, and drinks. Great Job Michelle! You and your staff were amazing at taking care of us. 5 Stars for sure!!

This place is quite the gem! I travel across 6 states and am always a bit skeptical of glowing reviews. However, this place is legit. If you want killer BBQ nachos, awesome pizza, or an awesome experience, stop here. Skip door dash, or pizza delivery, and stop by. I will certainly be back and you should too.

I wish I had better things to say for a local spot but if you have "pie" in your name, I'd expect a good pie. I get a straight up pepperoni when I go somewhere new to get a feel for the pizza and this one was disappointing. Very much undercooked for mine. Sauce was decent. My wife got the pear pizza and they should take notes from other places with pear pizzas...don't throw 1/4 slices of pear on the pizza. Dice it up or slice it thin. It doesn't work when it's quartered. Her pizza, however, was cooked nice and crispy so I wish I had the same experience. My friend got some nachos. The pork was good, but the layout was pretty sad. Chips, pork and shredded lettuce. For some reason the cheese for the nachos was on the bottom. How does that make sense? Generally speaking, the food needs tweaked. It wasn't bad overall but undercooked pizza for a pizza restaurant is a pretty big issue. Our server was nice and he was attentive. The location on the river is really great but we did decide to dine inside to avoid the wait for the patio. This place seems close to greatness, just need to tighten things up a bit.
