Love this cozy, friendly little theatre and all the foreign and arthouse films and the convenient parking! It's almost like a private screening room. BUT!! The plastic seat covers are SUPER SQUEAKY! Seriously, I know it's probably a cost issue to replace, but everytime somebody moves in their seat, me included--you can HEAR IT. I was trying to enjoy ELVIS but the seats are a serious deterrent. I try to avoid the 2nd St Laemmle theatre for traffic/parking reasons but might need to trade that inconvenience for a silent seat. I hope they can score some new covers. Otherwise, all good!

The seats are so comfortable. The only problem is the lights to guide you to your seats are WAY TOO BRIGHT throughout the films.

If there is a movie I really want to see I am willing to travel across the city to see it. It turns out, this is where Laemmle often screens some of their most interesting movies...so here I am. Small movie theater with a few medium size rooms. Leather seats are really comfy. Friendly staff and lovely history and photo wall in the lobby.

Amazing independent theater. Great place to watch indie and foreign movies.

Lots of options in the area: Thai, Japanese, Vietnamese, and Persian
Go to their website and ask. I'm sure it has to do with attracting more customers at night and enough customers in morning to be cost effective. Like vintage bookstores, vintage film houses can't compete with mainstream and on-line movie companies.
You can purchase tickets on their website. www.laemmle.com
Couldn't tell you love... google that! Also let them know that its ok to play movies down here in southeast Los Angeles 😡😡😡
They did, I'm not sure if it is still playing
How the H___ should I know? Look on the internet.
No reserved dressing, but handicapped seating available.
Metered parking avaiable in the surrunding streets. Easyer to find parking during weekend.
Street parking, no time limit, a block or two north and there is a pay lot.
Read the other questions, someone else asked about a month ago....good detailed information on that thread.
Not on the property. The theater recommends using one the City Parking lots. One is on Colby, just south of Santa Monica Blvd., and the other is located on Butler, just north of Santa Monica. The city charges $1 per hour. Some spaces are designated as 2-hour spots, others as 4-hour spots. There is also street parking available around the theatre, but be sure to read posted signs carefully for restrictions. Please note that there is no parking on Santa Monica Blvd. between 4pm and 7pm, Monday-Friday as it is designated as a Tow Away Zone during those times. Try to catch a late show when street parking is free
I dont understand the question
