The park is stunning, trail is good with nice scenery. There are two shelters, around the beautiful beach and another like .7 miles away from the beach. When you enter the park the picnic area comes first and then the beach. I liked the camp grounds facing the shore and it was calm. The sun rise would have been amazing. The shoreline is cool as well. The bathrooms were neat as well compared to other parks i have been. Must go place for the lake. Not much fall colors at this time though.

My family and I always try to come here at least once a year especially late September/early October. Everytime we have come here we've always been happy with how beautiful it is. It's very clean and beautiful. I would recommend going here with your family especially your kids. I honestly cannot wait to keep coming here to make memories with my children. I would say my only complaint is that not all campers respect your campsite. They tend to walk through and/or invade your space but that has nothing to do with the campsite it has everything with other campers. I would say just remember that when you go camping don't walk through other people's campsite especially if they have dogs.

A nice well maintained State Park. The camp sites at the Maple Grove campground do have some nice separation so you do feel like you have a bit of privacy. There is a large sand swimming beach and public areas. There are a few trails in the park itself, and some nice views of Mille Lacs Lake . You can access the Soo Line Bike trail from the park, but most of the trails within the park do not allow bikes as they are narrow. There are a few places to fish from shore, but Mille Lacs Lake is huge and a boat would work well to get you where you need to go to catch the "Big ones".

Small compared to other park but has stunning hikes along the shore. Closed in winter but you can hike in. It has an amazing beach and picnic/grill area that usually has a breeze to keep to bugs away. Bathrooms by the beach are stinky and dated. Pet friendly, leash required.🦮

I have a 32 footer, as well. When i camped there i had problems backing in because there are trees on the other side of the roads that prevent a good angle in. The big loop will be your best bet. Check the website for site length. Kathio state park is nearby and has some pull thru sites, just no lake there.
Dogs are always a good idea in state parks, as mentioned, on a leash when needed. There's lots of shoreline for them to swim too.
Is there bathroom and shower is there electric on site
Not sure about during the winter but the rest of the year they are open and they do have a dump station.
Yes
There are many resorts close by that rent out various boats along with guided launches.
There is a beautiful sandy beach and a little gift shop
The water is chilly, but the beach is clean. Lots of room
