I do not have good experience here comparing to other places. Too many falling trees, I did not kayak but feel like 3/4 of the trip I pulled my kayak. I kinda understand that water may low during the season but they should not open and charge people just to go pull kayak and walk in the water. Staff did not helpful at all.

We didn't have any issues. Great service. Great day on the river.

Put in was ok. The float was very pretty. Take out and shuttle was horrible. Take out location was a very steep, very muddy hill. There was NO assistance from staff, in fact they seemed to think it was funny watching folks struggle (some falling) in the muddy mess. Excuses were made referencing the recent rain from the hurricane but it, in fact, had not rained in that area in the prior 4 days allowing plenty of time for the organization to make preparation for a safer and easier take out system. We were told that our large fee of $15 per person included washing off of kayak upon return to original spot. However we were informed on our way back to that spot that they were super busy and would not be able to wash our kayaks but we would have access to a water hose. When we got back to our original spot and our kayaks were unloaded we began to wash our kayaks with a water hose while an employee from the organization began to wash off their kayaks that they rent out to customers with a pressure washer. This is completely unacceptable to me. As it is in most businesses the customer comes first! Our kayaks, for the price we paid, should have been thoroughly rinsed off by staff before attention was given to their own. The shuttle van we traveled in wasn’t the greatest but it doesn’t have to be the greatest for it to be an enjoyable adventure. the biggest issue I had with it is it was extremely dirty on the inside and the step up into it was broken making it very hard to get up in there especially since there was nothing to hold onto to pull yourself up into the van. I am sorry to say that I would never recommend this place to anyone for the above reasons. What a shame!

Had a great time kayaking the Paint Rock River over the weekend. The whole process of renting the kayaks then being shuttled back after our 4 hour paddle down the river was smooth and fluid...no hiccups. Fast friendly service from the company. We barely had any wait time after calling to be picked up at the sand beach. The kayaks were comfortable and quality-made and we had a really amazing time from start to finish.

Well depends on where you floatin but honestly the paint Rock is very low. Alot of pulling across Rock shoals. But if you don't mind the work it's great time to find treasures you couldn't normally find when water is up. But yes water levels are at a LOW
