If I could give them a zero star, I would. I am amazed that they have so many great reviews. Maybe if I had been able to get them to do the work, I would be pleased but I've been trying for 14 months. I gave them a $1000 deposit in April of 2021 to expand my driveway. I wanted 17 feet driveway. After months of not hearing, I finally got in touch and they said the city will only allow 16 feet. I said fine. Months and months later still no response. Finally talked to them again and apparently they had never really filed the application with the city - I filled out the form again and they said they would file. Months of not hearing and finally I got in touch and now apparently the city said only 14 feet. I said fine 14 feet. That was a week and a half ago. I tried to call and get a voicemail that cuts me off part way through. I tried to file a complaint with Better Business Bureau but I can't find them listed with the BBB. I may have to sue in small claims court.

I signed a contract about a year ago to get solar energy panels installed. It literally took them a year to get completed. They obviously don't know what they are doing. Permit was not applied before they finished the installation. Two contractors were put on paperwork when county inspection was requested and the confusion created delay. Finally when the inspection was schedule, the engineer first time didn't show up, second time no proper paperwork was prepared (even though I made phone calls and sent text messages to remind them that Covid-19 related paperwork is required for inspection). So it took the county inspector three trips to get the inspection completed. The worst of the worst was they didn't know the proper procedures to apply connection to PG& E. When my electric bill showed no difference and I asked the engineer maybe it is not connected to PG&E, he ensured me that everything was completed with PG&E. Finally in October I called PG&E and found out nothing was done with PG&E. The contract was signed last November, the installation was done in February, The county inspection was done in May, ... and I finally got an email from PG&E today to notify me that my solar system is connected to their power grid now.

After reviewing several bids for a roof replacements, my husband selected Silicon Valley Renovations. While their price was competitive, our final selection of SVR was based when their Supervisor Dave addressed our concerns, and laid out plans to deal with potential areas of difficulties or changes in the job. Dave and his crew were first class, arriving each day on time, worked their tails off on each operation efficiently, continued solid progress through completion (finishing ahead of their promised schedule), and did a great job of cleaning up at the end of each day. Nice touches including leaving the TV antenna up until the last minute and minimizing down time. There were a few unanticipated problems during the work, but Dave and his crew quickly addressed those, at no additional cost. When we asked about several items near the end of the work, SVR rapidly completed all items on the punch list. A special mention is required: On top of SVR running safe work operation on a difficult (2 story home) project, additional COVID-19 safety measures were taken throughout the operation, entirely to our satisfaction. We are pleased with the roof and gutter replacement, and have already recommended Silicon Valley Renovations to family and friends.

Wonderful experience! Everyone I worked with was very helpful, I appreciated the thorough workmanship. The finish is so easy to clean. I am very happy I chose them to do the bath install. They were courteous professional, and the work got done in a timely manner. I would recommend this company for any remodeling.
