We bought an open face roast beef sandwich. One slice of bread, potatoes ( instant) and gravy. Each half of sandwich was 10.00. So 20.00 for two sandwiches which was a slice of bread potatoes and roast beef with gravy. Pricey. Won't be eating there again. It comes with 2 sides so we ordered potato and brown gravy, all we got was the gravy in a small cup. No extra potatoes.

Tired of eating fast food when we travel so we always look for some home cook southern food. This place is a visit. The staff are friendly and the owner talked to us for a while and happy to have us. Price is reasonable. Food is great.

Well, the sandwiches are decent, but my only comment is that portions are hit and miss - either ample or skimpy. Tip: when your cook puts a burger on the grill, turn it once, then be sure the juices run clear to ensure it's done...medium rare is fine on a steak, not on a cheeseburger! Otherwise, always feel welcomed, friendly staff. Relaxing, good bbq.

Don't let the exterior fool you. This place has amazing food for a great price, and is neat and clean on the inside. This is my go-to place for a good quality handmade burger in Sparta. The patties have a good flavor and are grilled to perfection. I like to pair mine with the onion rings. Do yourself a favor and get the fried pickles here as well. Everyone is friendly and attentive, and when the weather is right you can sit on the screened-in porch.
