I’ve been going to the Yakima Clinic for almost five years now. Not only have they been the one thing that’s kept me off of the street drugs, but each and every one of them have shown me grace, respect and even love at my lowest moments. I don’t know where I would be without these guys. I have several favorite employees, but I’ve grown especially close to Brittany. She’s been there since the first day I walked in, and has never been anything but friendly and supportive. I remember my first appointment and her being so kind, so welcoming and friendly. Not once has that ever changed. I’ve had several dark moments, and she’s always shown me kindness. I’m truly grateful for Her and everyone else who works there, despite being a challenging place to work at times. Thank you for being a solution and saving my life.

This company is decent, the doctor’s are great too. I had a good experience with all staff except one. There’s a girl name Brittni who works there which is why I can only give 4 stars. Upon checking in I was not acknowledged as she sat and scrolled her phone, she was visibly and verbally rude to the ladies she works with, and made the comment to a guy who was also in for an appointment that “maybe if he quit smoking pills in the bathroom, he might get better.” I went to school with this person, and for someone who was so “risky” then, she certainly likes to act high and mighty with those who she should be helping. She hasn’t changed much since high school, and the mean girl attitude hasn’t gone away. Makes me uncomfortable to been seen there. Glad they opened another clinic in Yakima, thank you Ideal Option!

If you have any doubts about coming to this clinic please read my review. I am being 100% honest and I rarely write reviews. In this case I felt the need to do so.... Many people complain about the wait time, but believe me when I tell you if you’re waiting then you are waiting for good reason. These doctors and nurses are more like family and therapists. They take all the time they feel they need for your specific visit. I have never felt rushed or shorted in any way. I have waited a few hours but that’s ok. They are working so hard to give everyone individual care. These doctors are also working full/part time in ER’s or clinics outside of ideal options. This is not their only job, plus they are seeing/helping/saving the lives of a 100+ patients a day. I have a little over 3 years clean and I owe it all to them. The clinic I was at before them (Central Washington Family Medicine ) made me feel worthless. Everyone there looked down upon me, and the woman were so rude. Most visits I would leave in tears. I have been with ideal options a year and a half and I will be with them for the rest of my life. I’ve been on Suboxone on and off 10 years. I know a good clinic when I see one, and ideal options is it. They are saving lives everyday and they just want the best for you. If you’re honest with them then they will treat you fairly and with respect.

Suboxone is truly a life saving medication. I do believe Ideal Options was started with good intentions, but has become a cattle call money making place. I switched from a local doctor because I was looking for more one on one counseling. What I got was more stress and anxiety because you cannot see the original doctor you start with but stuck in a room with a computer screen. While I do believe TeleMedicine is a good technology, its not got a place in addiction medicine. After waiting 2 hours for my appointment, I must wait another 24 for them to simply fax my prescription to pharmacy. They don't give enough medicine to last the extra 24 hours so I believe this can potentially lead to a lapse in persons who has been clean. And therefore more overdoses. Luckily my insurance does cover but for those without insurance, it would be an outrageous expense due to you must return twice a WEEK. Most suboxone programs do allow 2weeks to monthly between visits after becoming stable. I just started and after second visit I'm definitely questioning if I plan on staying because I value my sobriety.

What is the process to getting accepted and how difficult is it?

Hi, Michelle! There are very few barriers to getting treatment at Ideal Option - our mission is to provide low-barrier access to treatment. Patients don't need to be referred or "accepted." It's much like a doctor's office. In fact, we can often get new patients in on the same day or within 24 hours. Our clinics also accept walk-in patients. We accept a wide variety of insurances, including Medicaid and Medicare. If you'd like to schedule an appointment, please call 1-877-522-1275. Our patient care team takes calls from 4am until 8pm (Pacific time) Monday-Friday and 8am to 6pm (Pacific time) on Saturdays and Sundays.

It's just like a normal doctors office. They do not offer transportation for the patients, but I believe that there is a bus route nearby.

You can bring your kids and have someone watch them in the waiting room. They do not offer babysitting. It is just like a normal doctors clinic.
