It was my family unit first time here and we loved it. The lake was low according to the locals we were with but we had a blast and will definitely come back. The ice cream was great also

Great place to spend a weekend away with the kids. We stayed in the camp ground and had a fantastic time. The prices at the restaurant are a little high for me, but the food looked amazing. The lake was down during our stay. So, the slides were closed. Overall a great trip.

A must when in Louisville whether you're in need of a good lunch, dinner or laid back resort atmosphere. They also have an excellent lounge/bar area. The people here are the best and will treat you amazingly well. A true local gem that draws people from all over the world.

We stayed one night in a hotel room. The bed was firm but comfortable. Basically clean but could use a deep clean. The resort is in a beautiful area and looks like a great family place in season.

Hello yes you can just swim for the day. We would love to have you come out for the day.
Yes, the lake is officially open 7 days a week from 9am til 6pm. Come join us.
Reasonable prices for conferences. Great food in the onsite restaurant. Beautiful property. Very quiet and peaceful. Would definitely recommend this place for a nice, relaxing getaway.
A little late on answering yur question, but I have been there several times & as far as I could tell it was a mixture of every race visiting & working there. I never once saw anyone get mistreated... As a matter of fact our room wasnt ready when we arrived & a black employee went straight to our room and had it ready in about 30 minutes. 👍 I say give it a shot this summer & reply with your experience! Good luck!
We do have a picnic area in front of the restaurant which has grills and picnic tables. It is open to the public unless someone has it reserved. And you can bring your food and cook it there.
Yes; they open the lake to fishing and swimming . Check their website: ltok.com
