This was the worst place I’ve had breakfast. I paid 50 dollars for 3 pancake plates with beacon, eggs and orange juices. One plate had 1 bacon and no egg, and the other two were not consistent in portion with the eggs and bacon. One orange juice had a bug in it (so gross), eggs had no flavor and pancakes seem to be for people with no taste buds because not even adding syrup gave it flavor. Not coming here again.

Been eating here for four years and learned that the best time to order is the afternoon and evening. Attempting to order breakfast or anything else in the morning will guarantee an incomplete or messed up order. Without fail, the opening staff miss the mark. I’ll stick to the evening for those burger cravings.

I hardly ever right a comment on restaurants. Well this place doesn't even rate a half a star. Drive thru employees were rude. Our order was simple yet they still seemed to mess it up. Then when we paid and received our change and food, there wasn't even a thank you. The employees all had attitudes and our food was jammed into one bag that food (fries) we're falling out. When we got home not less than a mile the bag was saturated in grease from the fries. Our sandwiches we're crushed on the bottom of the bag and finger indentations we're in our sandwiches too. Definitely not the place to eat ever again. Oh my first visit to the Mr. Pete Burgers with my Aunt (South Gate 60 year resident). Picture of one of the so called sandwiches, would you eat this?

Generally speaking, the majority of the items from the menu are severed in large quantities. Specifically, the French fries are ridiculously oversevred and some of the burgers have too much thousand islands dressing on their buns. At least from my perspective, this place isn't too much of a nutritionally balanced place if you're taking precaution from sodium, sugar, or cholesterol of your diet. Unless you don't mind the severing portion of food or lack fitness goals, then continuously order from the main menu. However, there's a positive spin upon all this: There are a few health friendly items which are appetizing and satisfying. One of them I recommend, is the tostada chicken salad and it's a little under 10 dollars. It's slightly larger than a double chicken tostada salad from nearby El Pollo Loco, but it's made with actual fresh ingredients. Because there's one item which I enjoy, I'll give this restaurant 4 stars. Until there's reasonable severing portions, then I'll bump up the rating to 5.
