Office staff is clueless. 5 lab orders written for the wrong lab and my last 3 medications could not get corrected. I visited the office and had a tough conversation with the office manager. She told me that it is my responsibility to check my medications and lab orders. Days after that Dr Abella sent me a letter telling me to find another doctor. Great idea. Don’t want to get killed by his staff.

I recommend looking for another doctor. Abella himself I did not have a bad experience with, his office staff is the worst I have even encountered. The nurse practitioner working there is a Joke she said she couldn’t hear my heart mur mur while Abella and several other doctors said they did. So she said her diagnosis is I don’t have one, she seems untrained. It’s scary because she’s acting’s as a doctor in abellas place. I asked specifically for a appointment with abella and they made me see her again anyways. The office staff does not care about your time. I was turned away on the day of my appointment twice after showing up because they didn’t receive referral and didn’t notify me beforehand. Appointments were scheduled months in advance and not call beforehand saying they needed anything. Same thing happened to another person while I was there, seems they are not organized. Then waited 2 months to get results for stress test. Finally decided to call Abella, no answer so I texted him I had been waiting for stress test results for 2 months after trying not to bother him about how terrible his staff has been and received a text back with “results are normal”. Abella doesn’t seem bad but the rest of the place is terrible. Hopefully they can reorganized the office.

Thanks to Dr Abella, Maria, Shakira , tech’s and all staff. Although my mom has been a patient for almost 20 years or more now it was my turn to be a patient of Dr. Abella and I want to thank everyone in that office for making all my tests go smoothly and your excellent customer service. It was a stressful moment for me in my life, you were all very supportive, caring and great customer service. May God bless you all. Sandra Diaz

Their elderly patient (my grandmother) keeps being pushed a medication that she is having adverse reactions to, and the doctors or admin could care less. The patient is having severe side effects, and the admin only cares about whether the patient has a "Telehealth referral" which is not a real thing. If you want to be treated like a number and not a person, or visit a doctors office that is only in it for the money, go visit Dr. Abella's office. Good luck to your patients, they clearly need it. Upon further review, the owner continues to respond to reviews in an unprofessional manner. This is the type of treatment that can be expected from this establishment.
