I have ordered several menu items. First off The staff is so nice and friendly. Sweet tea is amazing, Cobbler great, ice cream good. Love the slaw on the hot dogs. The nachos hit or miss. Chip are not the best quality and freshness is kinda hit or miss that being said the portion is easily enough for 2 (and I am one of those grain feed girls). Potatoes portion is easily enough for 2 people. Chicken is juicy. White sauce is good. I do even go and buy it when I am baking chicken and home. The BBQ is not my test, but to be honest I am picky where it is concerned. I tend to like a Smokey, seasoned type and to me this was more bland. The only item I hated of the bbq sauce. I am more a vinegar sauce than tomato based person. I have not tried the ribs, but husband did and his only complaint was they were pre sliced (I know he is pretty picky also)

I want to like Rick’s, but unfortunately there is a pattern with each visit where an order of ours (and of fellow patrons) is incorrect, a server is dismissive of concerns, and/or the wait for our food in the lobby approaches 40-60 mins. I understand the shortcomings given the current labor issues, however, there still appears to be a lack of urgency. The food itself is great! It’s the challenges among the staff that sour the experience.

Food was good. If you're calling ahead to order make note that when paying with cash, can only be done with inside pickup. I have no idea why this is not an option with curbside or drive-thru services. I didn't think it made sense to have to go inside to pay with cash. To use the other services, must pay ahead by card. Also, none of the workers had masks on as apparently it's not mandatory. Which again, makes no sense you have to go inside. There also were no partitions installed. Be sure to take this into account when visiting and protect yourself as you know to and see fit. Although they forgot to give me the tea that was ordered with the family pack, I called and Angel was very nice and said it could either be picked up or used at the next order. We chose to get it next time. The food was really good. Make sure you get the sauce as well a the pulled meat does not have barbecue sauce on it. This is unusual from what I'm used to but all good. It may not be the best barbecue I've ever had, but it was good and enjoyed by the entire family.
