First time at this store, I came here from North Long Beach for Melissa's Roasted HATCH Chilies! The store is very nice, PRICEY but nice. Staff was very friendly as well. I paid for my chilies, got them loaded and another happy camper on the go!

I don't know how to start another review so edited this one. I just want to say thank you Juan at the bakery at Gelson's! It took us a long time to figure out my dad's cake for his 80th birthday party! But it was a success! Thanks to Juan's patience,kindness and most professionalism I have seen in a long long long time! Usually it's done by computer or you get a yes ma'am no ma'am or OK but he went the extra mile to make sure it was amazing and special and if anybody ever asks me where to go from now on, I'm gonna send them there!

I came in to buy some cup cakes from the bakery section for my daughter turning one today. The people were so kind and took the time to decorate the cupcake and entertain her while she was sitting on the shopping cart. They surprised me at the end after I finished paying for other items to let me know that they had paid for the cupcake on their own as a gift to my little girl. I will have to come back to learn their names and make this my go to store for everyday items.

Wow! What service! I called and spoke with an amazing employee named Bella. I wanted to purchase some "bamboo plates" from instacart but this item did not have a picture so I was just asking her to describe it to me. She asked for my phone number and offered to take photos and text them to me, which is more than I could have hoped for! She did this in less than 5 minutes so I knew exactly what I was purchasing! I usually wouldn't write a review about a grocery store but she went above and beyond without even being asked! 5 star customer service! Thank you Bella!
