Wow, what a beautiful river experience. We rafted the Ocoee river led by our fearless and funny guide known as Subway and had a blast! This river is so beautiful and the rapids are amazing. We did an afternoon trip and shared a raft with another family. It was a great experience and we felt safe the whole time. We were a little concerned about our daughter who is very lightweight but Subway (our guide) put her in the back near him and he was very cautious and made sure she was safe. This made us feel good as some of the rapids can be pretty serious! If you get a chance to go rafting in McCaysville, you should definitely look for Rolling Thunder and ask for Subway. He was a great guide and very experienced on this most beautiful river!

Unbelievable price of $12 per person for a relaxing tube ride down the Toccoa River. The staff is extremely helpful and professional. This is a must do if you're in/near McCaysville GA.

Absolutely amazing trip. Father son trip before son leaves to college. Only disappointment is that I waited too long. Should have done this long time ago. Was blast and worth every cent. Quizno was awesome. From what I hear taught subway everything he knows. Great guide and made for even more amazing experience.

We did the full day course, which included the upper and lower with lunch halfway. This was an awesome rapid trail. We had so much fun. The guides were hilarious. Let the good times roll Thunder!

I would recommend looking at the website for rates. If they are not on there for some reason then you could call. If you plan to go I would recommend getting some cheap $5 water shoes at Walmart instead of getting your tennis shoes wet. Also, request slim as your guide, he was ours and he was super cool. Honestly the guide is what makes the experience really fun.
Honestly i would try to take two cars, if youre with other people, both of you drive to the end, get into one car, and park at the start, then when youre at the end, they can just give you a ride back to your car
The Toccoa River is fun for kayaking right now. It may change later but as of now we're running it. I wouldn't advise it for children.
Tammy, our season has begun and we're so glad it has! Join us when you can. - Bobbye
Age 7 OR 60 lbs. + for the Nantahala or age 12+ for the Ocoee. Hope this helps.
