Was very upset because the Huevos Rancheros plate only comes with beans no rice. The waitress said that breakfast plates don't come with rice. Every Mexican Restaurant I've been to, comes with rice & beans. Then they charge for chips (which is fine). But don't put a sign that's "says because of chip shortage we have to charge you." There is no chip shortage.

The food was mediocre, beef tacos had some kind of pressed meat in it covered in Tons of lettuce, there was more lettuce than protein. The rice & beans were lukewarm and bland, the good thing is that the staff was friendly and attentive. This is not authentic Mexican cuisine, if you're looking for authentic go elsewhere. I have 2 stars because of the staff otherwise it would be 0.

We come here once in a while and it never disappoints! Food is delicious, portions are huge, pickled carrots are bomb, and churros even better! On the bar side I always get a margarita and it never disappoints!

Well, brand new place. This is not Tio's anymore...now it's MoVal BBQ. First review. Friendly owner that has the right intentions. This is the place to go too if you are looking for inexpensive BBQ. Now please don't get me wrong, sauces and all are a taste thing so opinions might differ but i really liked the BBQ sauce he puts on his meats. Thin, not super thick and not overpowering. Flavor is also pretty good. The meat is a hit and miss. I really liked the chicken and pork ribs. Really good stuff. Beef ribs were also not Bad but i had better. Brisket was not good at all. It was hard to pull it apart with just my hands. Very tough. Nice smoke ring but just Soo tough. Flavor was pretty neutral. But i will give it another try some day. It's so difficult right now during this covid pandemic to find good and consistent suppliers. Sausage links were ok as well. We also tried all the sides and they were ok. Unfortunately none of the salads, beans and other sides are just store bought and not made in the restaurant. For example, the macaroni salad is the generic one you can purchase at walmart or smart & final. Bottom line is: if you are looking for a great place to have inexpensive BBQ this is the one to go too. BBQ is not the best but for it's location and all it's pretty good. It's also a new place and probably needs a bit more time to get dialed in. It is really hard to leave an all around review for a BBQ restaurant because opinions and taste butts are so different. I recommend going there. It's not a pretty looking place but the owner is super cool and tries hard. He definatly has BBQ experience and for the price he charges i have no complaints.
