OTF Long Beach Marina has been a game-changer for the health of my body and mind! I joined OTF LBM at the end of the Summer in 2021 and have found that since I joined Orangetheory, the exercise that I am doing for that one-hour workout is nurturing not only my physical but also my mental health. I feel stronger, more motivated, and more effective long after I step out of the studio. All of the coaches are supportive in a way that makes you feel comfortable while also challenging you to do your personal best each and every day. It can be intimidating to walk into your first OTF class, but the team at LBM ensures that you feel confident to tackle the workout and leave you wanting to come back for more. Working out at Orangetheory has provided me with a new outlook on my fitness, helped strengthen my body and mind, as well as provided a community that challenges me to do my very best each and every day. I began working out at the gym twice per week, then bumped it up to 4x per week after Hell Week (you need to try it out!) in the Fall, and now feel like something is missing on the days that I am not at the gym. I’ve been at this particular location since May 2021 and I love the people here. I workout in the mornings and the atmosphere is electric! The people who come here are hilarious, fun and kind. The staff are VERY supportive-including the lovely people who greet you and check you in. The effort the coaches make to support your journey isn’t just during the one hour workout either, they connect with you through social media, for me it’s Instagram. Honestly, I can’t believe they have time to do that, so that goes to show how amazing these coaches are. The facility itself is nice and clean and plenty of parking. If you take one class, I guarantee you will be hooked! This is the only workout that has kept me consistent!

I’ve been going to OTF for almost 8 years now, and been a superfan for all that time. As someone who never worked out a day in my life, and in my 40s when I first started, I was super skeptical that this small gym could indeed work for someone like me, as well as more athletic people in the same class…well, it really works! I never felt out of place or intimidated. The community is like no other , the coaches are top notch, not only super knowledgeable, but friendly and approachable. I thought I stumbled onto a really great tribe when I first joined in Tustin, but moved last year , and found another truly awesome group at Long Beach Marina . Head coach Amanda and manager Lynette are the best ! Always welcoming in every class, newcomers and even old timers like me ;)

If you’ve already been doing Orangetheory and become pregnant, check with your doctor first. Our heart rate monitoring is a perfect way to keep an eye on your intensity as you progress through your pregnancy. If you are a few months into your pregnancy and haven’t been doing any sort of fitness training, wait until after you have your baby and we can help get you back into shape!
Absolutely. Our coaches are trained to provide options for each exercise on the floor, in addition to offering a low-impact bike and strider alternative in place of the treadmill for lower body injuries or orthopedic restrictions.
Of course. Orangetheory is geared toward ALL levels of fitness and everyone is free and encouraged to go at their own pace. We recommend trying a free introductory workout, then discussing any thoughts or questions you may have regarding your fitness goals, with your coach.
Splat Points indicate minutes spent in the orange and red zones. Aim for 12 or more Splat Points per class.
Orangetheory is 5 Zone heart rate based interval training using specifically designed and timed interval training blocks. During a workout, members focus on Zones 3, 4 and 5. The workouts are designed to produce 12 minutes or more in Zones 4 & 5 combined (to achieve the after burn) during the treadmill training portion of the workout.
We’ll ask that you arrive no more than 15 minutes before workout and avoid congregating in the lobby.

Our workout room has a variety of equipment including treadmills (bikes and striders as alternatives), WaterRowers, and floor equipment including dumbbells, benches, TRX suspension trainers, medicine balls, BOSU trainers and AB Dollys.
Orangetheory is a 1-hour, full body workout, focused on training to build endurance, strength and power. We use heart rate-based interval training, which burns more calories post-workout than traditional exercise. When wearing our heart rate monitors, your real-time results are displayed on large screens throughout the studio. Intensity is based on your individual heart rate zones, making the workout effective for all fitness levels. To top it off, our fitness coaches lead the workout to prevent you from overtraining or undertraining.
OTbeat™ is our exclusive heart rate monitoring technology. Members have the unique experience of seeing real-time data during their workout, enabling them to push themselves to new limits. After class, they can then monitor their improvements through emailed results and by using the Orangetheory Fitness app.
