We had a phenomenal 5 day stay here. This place is clean and so family friendly. There's a great beach, playground, mini golf, canoes, kayaks, fishing poles, trails and more. The lake is beautiful and you will catch something! We caught bass. Enjoy!

I'm not a camper but loved the area that we spent facing the lake with on an RV lot. They offered free nature classes to young children, nice beach area with plenty of room to play games. I'm also impressed that they had clean bathroom and showers. Will definitely be back my friends and family and book a yurt or cottage.

I've been going to this park with my family and renting their cabins for about 15 years. The cabins and the park are very well taken care of. Each cabin has its own dock. Though they have TVs in each cabin, we intentionally put away All electronics for the weekend. Laughing, food, swimming, kayaking, fire pit, games, puzzles, hammocks, hiking, looking at wildlife, etc.. We love our wknds here!

We have stayed in a yurt here twice now and we really enjoyed it. The yurts are so cute and they have AC. The lake is unbelievably warm during the summer and it makes you not want to get out. Their playground is really fun and we saw so many deer and wildlife. They have putt putt but the course isn’t really anything special. The signs say they close the gates for the lake at dark, but we had a Ranger come tell everyone they were closing the gates and it wasn’t even 8 pm yet. We also had to deal with some rowdy people. The rangers did handle it, but when I went to the lake to just relax, there was a large group of people at the pavilion, lake and volleyball court and they were super loud, blasting their music. I go to these state parks for peace and quiet. Also, when all of us in the yurts had an issue late at night, there was no one to contact. The manager and assistant manager didn’t answer so we all just had to deal with the issue. When I’ve stayed in cabins at other state parks, there’s always an after hours number to call for any issues.

Yes. Alot of the campsites are next to water or very close so you can possibly beach the boat close to em. If I remember right dogs are welcomed but need to be leased.
I'm not sure but check out their website it should say
We have T-Mobile
They have different options like premium sites , primitive sites , and cottages. We did a premium site and paid about $25/night
Can I go fishing there with my grandkids and can they catch fish there
We tried last year and apparently we're pitful fishers as we've never caught a thing anywhere. But we don't now what we're doing so that doesn't say much.
