Monterrey’s used to be our favorite inexpensive & quick Mexican restaurant. Have been here certainly more than 50 times in the last few years. The last 2 times we’ve gone the food has been significantly more expensive, taken significantly longer to come out, the service has been worse, and the food was just not as good as it was. No longer recommend Monterrey’s to friends like we’ve done for years.

The chips and salsa are very good and the service is nice. I recommend the steak tacos street style.

$10 for chicken quesadilla. They gave me the most disgraceful WW2 tablespoon ration of chicken & slapped it shut, I should have gone to Taco Bell instead & at least I wouldn’t have been blue balled of a full stomach.

Out favorite of all Mexican Restaurants... We were welcomed and seated quite quickly of our party of nine... Sunday after church morning service... The menu looked and proved promising ... The atmosphere was calm and inviting... Country Music playing while we dined in , they offer take out as well... They offer booths, larger booths and table seating, plus they have a bar available Monday-Saturday... The quality of food was above all the rest Mexican restaurants in our area ... And you know this by the cars in the parking lot... My favorite was the chip and dip they offer thru out your meal... They kept it coming ... The wait for our food wasn't lengthy at all. Came out hot and ready to eat... It was a little bit of heaven in our mouths... I highly recommend this Establishment any day...!!! Happy Eating , I know we surely enjoyed from start to finish!!!
