I went to security training center to get my guard card and firearm permit and Nate and Andrea were very welcoming and the prices were very affordable compared to the other school. Andrea and Nate walk you through all the steps you need to know once you are done with class and they are very knowledgeable on all the state requirements. Overall positive experience. Took the company online Guard Card course and had no major problems unlike many other online courses. Got the Lifetime Chemical Defense Certification online also and the permit is outstanding quality. Got the Exposed Weapon Permit from Nate Halprin at the Upland facility and he teaches a good course and can offer some great advice for those that need it on the range. He also has practical expertise applying for permits and the methods available for applications. The Baton Course was very informative, and offered insight into less-than-lethal use of force as well as escalation of force. For those that want to be informed and professional in the field of security, I do recommend Security Training Center.
