My favorite spot to nip in for some refreshing sushi or bento on a weekend day. A little pricey, but authentic. Fussy folks beware the cold rice, but I love it. It's always made fresh that morning.

Great store to just walk around and look at everything, definitely try out their fresh sushi! Don't forget to ask for condiments when you go to pay. You may notice a hair in the sushi - it came from my cat >.>

Well-priced and yummy selection of ready made Japanese food. Pick from the wide variety of small dishes for a snack or picnic lunch in the Japan Center plaza. Onigiri rice ball and squid karaage great!

This a great Japanese market in SF's Japantown. They carry foods you're not likely to find in a big chain grocery store. It's clean and conveniently located to public transit and other businesses. The aisles may be narrower than big chain grocery stores. They have to be. Rent is too expensive in SF. They carry a good selection of food items. Produce was more limited, mainly to Asian vegetables. Some are organic.

Yes, a nice selection of various Natto Brands available !
Yes.
Very good market.
I buy dashi powder from them. They have many types available including bonito and kombu.
Masks are necessary.
Yes they do ! Although it may be seasonal ?
Street parking is metered, there's a parking garage on location but it's paid and variable depending on the time of day.
I don't think so.
Yes
Don't know. Probably do since they have everything else. 😸
You would call I think they do not 100 percent sure..been a while since I went there..was a bit too pricey for me overall
I am assuming you are asking if the supermarket is open, so just called for you, and, yes, they are open, regular hours.
Meat day has been the 29th of the month because it echoes the same pronunciation as 'Niku' in Japanese, which means meat, though I don't know it still happens under the current situation.
I saw sakekasu but don't remember if it was Ozeki.
Last time I was there they had one right inside the entrance to the right
