Although they were not able to help us (only because we didn't live in orange county) the person I spoke to was very caring and super apologetic that there was nothing she could do for us. Just the fact that there are still decent, caring humans out there gives this place 5 stars

I give this organization a 1 star because they make it incredibly hard to adopt small or medium sized dog. First, you can’t see a dog without filling out an application and then you have to be approved to be able to set up an appointment to see 1 specific dog. My applications have been rejected twice for trying to see a puppy due to the fact that I didn’t already have another dog in my home for my the puppy to play with. They will reject you if you live in a spacious apartment and don’t have a yard for the small dog. At this point I don’t think they care to find these poor dogs living in shelter or with foster parents an actually good loving home. You have to either agree to adopt two dogs or move to a house just to adopt any dog. I think the people running this organization should be ashamed of themselves for rejecting tons of potential loving homes for these animals.

Great place to adopt a pet! They have some great choices for animals here.

This is a fabulous adoption center to find your next family member. The volunteers really care about every dog there and treat them all with love. The suites are all meticulous with beds. Toys and blankets. The dogs have a huge play area where the can run and interact. This is a very well organized center and it shows!

PAC-OC is a nonprofit rescue adoption center. As a rescue, we are no-kill.
PACOC cannot take dogs from the street as we are not a city/county shelter. For that you would need to take it to your local shelter. Hopefully they find a chip and can find the owner!
Yes. Please check the website for a list of dogs or drop by when they are open! They also post the dog bios on their front window :)
