This place is fantastic. Nice historical collection. Kids under 12 are free! And yes they do have stories of the LA County fire dogs. Lots retired firemen volunteer which makes it a human library. The rigs are in working condition which it really is amazing in itself. They have lots of time and attention put into them and it shows. I do recommend going during the week.

My husband and I were here for the grand opening in 2018, got to see actual firefighters with vintage fire engines from all around Southern California and famous firefighter actors .

I was here for my friends' wedding. Everything was beautiful! We started in the outdoor area and then moved to the reception hall. The food service is wonderful. The security team is so nice and friendly; they watched out for anyone who didn't belong to the event. One guard, I didn't catch her name, also helped with getting carts to take down our belongings and the couples gifts; she even held up the dress train she was very sweet. The coordinator Monica set up a nice change area for us and assisted with the cues to begin procession. She continuously checked in on us and helped the bride to feel more at ease.

A great collection of old and (then new) fire vehicles. It's biggest star are the fire trucks and memoribilia from the 1970's TV show "Emergency!". Parking near the museum is difficult, but there is a parking structure across from the museum that is free.

Yes.. ceramic mug, travel cup and a larger travel tumbler. We have everything on our on-line store to see
They have a life size fire fighter suit that a 4 year old could pose with. However, this is more of an observational museum.
We will be open...with a new 9/11 display. See you there.
There appears to be a Fire Memorabilia and Vendor Day going on... May 18th form 8am to 2pm.
We accept donations of artifacts. This particular incident would be of interest to the City of Los Angeles Fire Museum.
Thanks anyways. Hope to visit there someday. Place looks awesome.
It's a $5.00 donation, to me it's well worth the donation
