Date: October 30, 2019 shortly before noon time. Like most, I did a google search and found this location. Happy to have found a loctitian close by I thought I’d go in for some inquiry. I walked in and the reception was cold. No greetings, no hello nothing. I proceeded to ask who I can talk to about locs. I kid you not the stylist started shouting and berating me in front of her current client switching between broken English and Patoi but I made out some of her words to be “why would I come in without an appointment”..I tried to explain to her I’m a potential new client interested in her service..she interrupted me to let me know how she does not need my money and does not need any new clients that she’s too busy for people like me. I was taken back given that I’m quite professional with my delivery and I did not think my line of inquiry is offensive. Needless to say I left the establishment dumbfounded about what I had just gone through. I’m glad I did not use this woman. Talking to other stylist in the surrounding neighborhood I found out the owner of Jah is a unique character and that’s putting it mildly. She tends to get verbally aggressive with her clients and does berate people. I’d say more but it is not necessary. This was my experience with her. My money is not needed. The place is was unkept, and the atmosphere was intense.
