Beautiful but mediocre donuts. The employees are warm and friendly, and the donuts are ENORMOUS! Spectacular presentation and really makes you drool to look at them. I ordered an old fashioned and a cake-batter. The old fashioned was gummy like it was made yesterday. An old fashioned should have a crisp exterior but this one lacked any texture at all. The cake-batter donut didn't taste like anything -- just sweet. Maybe I chose the wrong donuts, but I've never not finished a donut because I was bored with it. It's very clear that the chef really cares about taking care of his customers. His presentation is incredible, and his employees are really attentive and friendly, but maybe I'm just not the right customer for this place? I'll need more than outstanding customer service to enjoy his donuts. I have to mark Donut Bar as not recommended.

Donuts heaven! You like donuts? You want donuts? This place is actually really great, and the donuts are very yummy! Very friendly staff and their coffee is also great! I suggest buying a nice hot cup of coffee with your donut! 🍩 ☕️

We tried four different donuts: Apple fritter, crème brûlée, big poppa tart (strawberry), and the Boston cream. The poppa tart was my absolute favorite! Definitely a 10/10! The other donuts were good but nothing special honestly. The staff was very sweet and the service was fast even though they were busy.

Stopped at the Donut Bar for some of their vegan donuts while in town for Comic Con and I wish I had gotten more. The four flavors they had were incredible and way better than I imagined they could be. The staff was helpful when it came to helping me pick out the right donuts and the prices were incredibly reasonable compared to what I've paid for similar donuts around the country. They also kept well and I was able to save a couple for breakfast the next day. Don't miss this while you're in town!

Donut Bar website does not offer online gift cards. Giftrocket, Giftly websites allow the gift card certificate to be purchased. You can go into the Donut Bar and ask to buy a gift card certificate.

They have special donuts every day but if you contact them in advance they might do something for ya

We were there at noon, and they were still open. They had very options left, though.
Service dogs only. Please stick to this rule. Due to the increasing level of non-service animals that try to frequent San Diego establishments, there have been high levels of unneeded confrontations resulting in police action. Please follow the rules and let the truly necessary service animals do their duties uninterrupted. Thank you and enjoy!!!
If you get there around 11:30 you got a chance of picking up some leftovers (what didn't sell) but if you go there at 7:30 you got a chance of being first.
