TLDR: I highly recommend getting your laptop repaired by Miami Nerds. Even if you have a motherboard/logic board issue, they will choose to repair the board first and help you save money before offering the more expensive choice. To start off, I needed a new laptop for work and personal projects but I didn’t have the budget to make the upgrade. So my sister gave me her broken MacBook Pro hoping I could get it repaired and use it. We first took the laptop to the Apple store but they told us the laptop had water damage and it will cost $900 to repair it. That wasn’t an option so I took the laptop to UbreakiFix to see if they can repair it but they told us the logic board was fried and they couldn’t replace it. I even called another repair company asking how much to replace a logic board and they told me $700. Then I found out about Miami Nerds. I called and ask if they replace logic boards. They told me they can repair the logic board instead of replacing it. So I brought them the laptop, they gave me a free diagnostic and told me their was moisture on the logic board and they could repair it for $220. I was ecstatic, they repaired my sister’s laptop in less than a week and got it running as if nothing happened in the first place. Big thanks to Miami nerds, they are highly professional and very responsive and they saved me a ton money.
