Easy hike to the cave from the main road South Lecanto HWY. Park there instead of the road off of Stagecoach Trail. We did the entire loop. The forest was beautiful.

nice two mile walk from the road side access. beautiful forest views, once you get past the trees..Trails are well marked. but no real information on where the caves are..

Angel Machicote

Cave isn’t huge but it’s a good size! Really cool little spot. A nice short hike on the trail and you are there. Def park at the unofficial cave parking way easier and a closer walk.

Very cool place to visit. If you want to really explore, bring a headlamp or flashlight. If you really plan on crawling around, kneepads and gloves would be warranted. From the parking lot, you are only a short hike to the first cave. Definitely head back past Vandals Cave to the Peace Cave.
