4/13/2022: I'm back for an update. So, after being ignored with the motion to set aside the delinquency fine for misinterpreting delinquency for financial hardship, I filed another one. This time I got a response for the denial of the motion. This does not involve the clerks. Regardless, the clerks still did fraud, I'm betting they checked some box wrong, maybe signed my name because in the initial motion I did not know I needed to have the form and they filed it. Proper instructions could have been mailed. How can this be done without the form? One of the clerks would have had to do this. The state, well, the branch that is Miami has done fraud in my name. I do appreciate it, but considering the circumstances... I have to be an as... ----- This review is for the refusal to acknowledge evidence in my favor. The previous letter mailed received a response. This letter and evidence proves my not being accountable and having to pay the Financial Responsibility Fee, what has now been labeled a fine for eight dollars more. What exactly is the fine for? 🤔🤨 Everything mailed is in images attached to this review.

I got a parking violation for $35 because I parked in the wrong space. Understandable, I'd like to pay it. But when I went on their website to look up the parking violation, it didn't exist. So I couldn't pay it. I checked back FIVE TIMES within the 30-day window in which I was required to pay the fine. Then, after the 30-day window was past, my violation conveniently appeared on their website, with an additional late fee of $27. Wow, isn't that convenient for them!?!?!? I tried to call and talk to someone FOUR TIMES, but every time the message just said "all of our clerks are busy" and kicked me back out to the main menu -- didn't even put me on hold, offer to call me back, etc. Classic bureaucratic government agency with zero accountability and zero concern for the people they're supposed to be serving.

I tried to call got no answer went online and they had me in collections for $1300 which I was told I could not fight when I payed the tickets I did get years ago that were two then they added 5 more citations of cars I’ve never driven or owned. But I had no choice but to pay cause I couldn’t fight them and if put on a payment plan it would have taken months maybe a year to finally be able to drive. Oh and the cherry on top I had to say I was guilty in order to pay the tickets. All the money that mayor leaches from the Whitehouse especially during the Trump administration you’d think they had a better system in place. Shameful

Even if you comply on time they will still penalize you to make money. Be careful with this court especially if you live out of state. They never pick up the phone which leaves you in limbo. My license has been suspended for months because info was sent to the wrong address then after I paid the fees and took a class they kept adding more fees and tried to order my state to suspend my license again. I'm pregnant and can't even get to all my appts. Because of this mess of a court.

No. You can walk in, after passing security check point. Use your phone scan QR code and after stand in line for a number. When you're is called go to many booths they available, the whole process took about 20 minutes.

If you have a citation for a traffic infraction, you may file a motion for relief requesting a continuance of the hearing date. The motion must be filed with the Clerks office at least five (5) business days before the hearing date by either appearing in person at any Miami Dade Clerk of Court location or by sending a request in writing to: Miami-Dade County Clerk of Courts 1351 NW 12th St Rm #124 Miami, FL 33125
