My step-father has been a resident at Pacifica Menifee Valley (formerly Gladwell) for the past 18 months. I am so grateful for Rachelle Wheaton, the resident services director, who since even prior to move in showed such genuine care, compassion and honest communication in regards to the care plan for my dad. She continues to be very responsive and available to discuss and address any issues or concerns. The entire staff from the med techs, cleaning, dining room, reception & care attendants are consistently kind, caring and always greet him by name. The decision to move a loved one is a difficult one and I have no regrets in choosing Pacifica. The facility is clean and well kept in a beautiful location. Each time I leave from a visit I am so thankful that my dad lives in such a great community that truly takes care of his needs with such care & kindness.

As the responsible person for a dear friend and Vietnam Navy veteran requiring safe haven with medical and personal care as well as social activities, we reviewed recommendations and visited several senior living facilities. Pacifica Senior Living was by far the most attractive both in facilities and staff. We have not been disappointed. In particular, the hard working care staff led by Resident Care Director Rachelle, is extraordinarily competent, attentive. responsive to all manner of circumstance and marvelously friendly. When a difficult medical or personal issue arises they go the extra mile. I've come to know many of the other staff throughout Pacifica as well and they could not be more responsive and helpful. It is so reassuring to know that the care of residents, whether it relates to medications, other health issues, social activities or assistance in daily living is of prime importance each and every day. Kudos to Executive Director Rance Leth for the positive environment and marvelous staff assembled. Well done Pacifica! And a heartfelt thank you for the care our dear friend now has.

My mom was recently diagnosed with Dementia living by herself miles away. I had to bring my mom closer to me and started researching senior living/memory care facilities. I researched the area and stubbled across Pacifica Senior Living Menifee. I decided to take a tour of the facility and met Denise. Denise was amazing and did an excellent job answering all of my questions. After the tour I had a good feeling about this facility. Over the next few days after looking around I decided this was the right place for my mom. I met Nurse Rachelle with my mom while she evaluated her. I had been in a bind and relayed my issues with Rachelle. Rachelle was supportive and gave me guidance/assistance with the next step. I took Rachelle's suggestions and everything worked out. I'm not sure where I would be without Rachelle's help. Thank you Denise and Rachelle! My mom has been in the memory care for a few weeks now and is doing great. She looks healthier and even told me the food wasn't bad. She now would rather play bingo or poker with the other residents then talk to me. The entire memory care staff has been great and I have no complaints.

Since Pacifica has taken over many amenities are gone, no Sunday brunch, no fresh berries or melons, in ages it takes 30 to 45 minutes for your food ,even egg & toast!! They run out of certain drinks, and the dining room is so understaffed its a shame for the care givers & servers trying to do at least 2 people jobs. The food looks nothing like the photos on this website. They are painting and doing upgrades around the building, but our loved ones are paying for a service they use to get that was enjoyable, especially after this year of lockdown ,it would be nice to actually have service and meals as they describe. on this website.
