A wonderful facility. This YMCA has an excellent selection of equipment that has been well maintained. The facility looks like it opened in the past few months but is actually 4+ years old. The staff is wonderful, the trainers are very professional and friendly. We were remarking the other day how the members are very welcoming and it's a very relaxing atmosphere. They have excellent programs during the summer for children and a wide variety of classes for adults throughout the year. Highly recommended for area residents to join.

When I joined I wasn't looking for a great staff, exceptional facility wonderful members, and fantastic kids. I needed to find a place just to keep busy from being lonely and depressed, but I found something much more. A place so remarkable and caring, clean, intellectual and smiling staff, and the greatest facility I've ever seen anywhere. My depression and lonely thoughts are behind me.

I have enjoyed the Spurlino Y for the wonderful kid care they provide so I can have a good workout. We actually had a membership back in the fall of 2021 but had to freeze it as my kids just couldn’t stay with strangers long enough for me to workout. I waited a few months til they got a bit older (they are 3.5 and 1.5) and now they enjoy it! That’s been my biggest reason I couldn’t consistently do group exercise because I had nowhere safe or secure for my kids, and the Y changed that. Both of my kids love it, which makes me so thankful! Also, I love Zumba! Only been a few times and I have zero rhythm but hoping to learn, plus get a decent workout while having fun. Both Eve and Mirabel have high energy but take the time to make sure everyone is following along. It definitely takes on a family feel - we’re all learning together, no one is better than the other, let’s just workout and have fun! Thanks Spurlino!

Can’t say enough about the leadership, coaches, facilities and overall positive experience my boys have enjoyed at the Spurlino Y. We are involved in multiple sports here and Shawn does an amazing job whose leadership has cascaded to the coaches and officials. Signups are easy, schedules are updated and the environment is safe and friendly
