I have chronic neck issues and got frustrated with the constant turnover at some of the larger PT chains, and decided to give this small business a try. Lee listens and truly cares about helping his clients. Definitely recommend.

I have had PT with a large number of therapists over the years. This has been the absolute best. I have real difficulty with back pain and balance issues. To have a therapist that works with the doctor's to relieve pain and increase your strength and ability to stay right side up is awesome. Being almost pain free is beyond wonderful

I've had chronic lower back issues for nearly 5 years, throwing it out at least once a year that would cripple me for a week. Tried to get it diagnosed but, even with results, there was little success of curing it. Tried a couple PT's until I landed on Dr. O'Connor. While a handful of medical practitioners advised me to avoid lifting weights and specific exercises, and had me do the typical, already-attempted, well-known stretches, Dr. O'Connor understood my active lifestyle and help me be able to keep it without compromising my back. His McKenzie method and overall approach fit my needs of being able to slowly return to my physical activity. He's given me both great stretches and exercises that help heal and target strengthening my lower back. If you are an athlete or just an active person that is looking to find a PT who doesn't just give you basic stretches that wastes your time and money, Dr. O'Connor is the man. Absolutely loved his conversation / bedside manner. I appreciated his honesty as he aimed and succeeded in getting me better within a short amount of appointments (other PT's tried to overload me with appointments - tough for time and money). Although, I wouldn't have minded as I truly enjoyed going to the appointments, soaking up his wealth of knowledge, and talking about common hobbies and banter. Will be back should I need the help again!

I've had back pain for years with never any relief or real understanding as to what the issue was. I spent 3 weeks with Lee and I have been pain free for the first time in 11 years. He's very helpful and caring when it comes to his patients. I've came out feeling healthier then ever thanks to Synergy Spine Therapy.

How to y correct my bad posture?

Daniel Caicedo | Aug 26, 2018
Synergy Spine Therapy | Aug 26, 2018

Hey Daniel, So, someone has been on your case to correct your posture eh? Posture is so very important at reducing back pain and neck pain in our sitting society. So,the first step is to make sure you have enough mobility in your spine, neck and shoulders. Gentle, easy, but prolonged stretches, usually lying on your back or against a wall. Second is creating postural strength and awareness of good posture is. This is done sitting a the front edge of a chair then repeatedly touching and arching 5x. Immediately afterward, sit with fantastic posture for 60 seconds. The hold part of the exercise is the most important making lasting changes. The goal is to catch yourself in not-so-good posture and make a lasting change. Give me a call or schedule a consult if you'd like to continue this further.
