The boat house and dock is now history. Dispute between owners and Co. Parks Department. So worn down and everything removed It's a really nice man-made lake. Land and equipment to make donated, many years ago for local people to use and enjoy. Two boat ramp. And one boat dock still. So. East side. But plenty of places to tie up. Or just come ashore. Lots of trails, nice camp grounds (Multiple) all over lake. Lots of trails. Horses and bike friendly

A beautiful lake for bass and trout fishing. There are also hiking trails, picnic areas, shelters, facilities, campgrounds, yurts, a playground, and even a general store on the way in. The perfect place for a picnic. Parking is $5.00 per car.

Yes I do have to make a reservation as I was told when I called the park
I didn't see any rules against it. The lake was a bit scummy when we were there this month, and it might be hard to get out to the edge to launch and retrieve it though.
$30.00 a night not closed anymore because of the fire
