I Had Leslie as my Stylist. I Was So Pleased At The Way My Hair Turned Out. It Looked Beautiful. Good Place To Go. They Know How To Treat Their Customers Well as Well.

I dunno who cut my hair Monday (sorry) but she was wonderful! It's exactly what I wanted and corrected a poor cut! My hair is all my personality. If you can pass this along to her Elyse D is my name and she was just great! I'm whole again.

Fantastic Sams used to be my go-to spot for a haircut when I lived in Fort Collins. Trying out this new (to me) shop in Loveland and it left a lot to be desired. My stylist (Alyssa) seemed uninterested in taking care of me. When I first arrived, I double checked pricing with the lady who was running the counter and she quoted me a very reasonable rate for a cut and shampoo with a simple blowout, no styling. I was under the impression that the shampoo and conditioning rinse were complimentary with the cut. When I got to the chair, my stylist kind of "huffed" when I asked for the shampoo too, but did it begrudgingly either way. The haircut was so incredibly short (time-wise,) it was barely noticeable that any work was done at all. She wasn't really willing to work with me on the style I wanted, as I brought pictures of what cut I wanted, but she was unable to complete the look. She did talk to me a little bit about my hair and tried to wave off the absolute silence, which was appreciated. After my cut, she let me leave with absolutely sopping wet hair so I had freshly-cut, wet hair all over my body and clothes and it was literally dripping water down around me. I inquired again about a quick, simple blow-dry and she said she could, but she would charge me an extra $13 for her to bring out her blow dryer. (The initial quote from the counter lady before I started was an extra $3 to do just an easy blow-dry, so that was extremely disappointing. Especially after the fact; after I was already wet and in the chair, they bait-and-switched the pricing on me. Online also offered me similar quotes to the original, so I don't understand why she wants to charge the price of a whole other haircut just to even get my hair from drenched to damp.) Needless to say, this experience left me a little sore. I still tipped her, but not nearly as well as I would have had she: 1.) Performed the cut as requested, 2.) Kept true to the original price quote, and most importantly 3.) Acted as if she actually wanted to work in the salon and been more personable without huffing and complaining, which really ruined my experience. I just wanted a fair service, but the stylist I was assigned to was just "not having it" today.

I have found out when my favorite stylist is working and then try to plan on those days. If you want a color or highlights done, sometimes that stylist can tell you when a good time to come in or even block time of for you.
