Sitting here having a late breakfast. So far the host has come by twice to ask if everything was good. My waitress, twice as well. I realize most probably they are required to do this in the job description. Am I to think by asking these questions they feel that if they didn’t everyone would complain. Just find it amusing. Good breakfast. ***** Adding another review one year later basically…. I have been coming to Village Inn for three years mainly 1-2 times weekly for dinner , sometimes breakfast. June 18th , 2022 20:12 - After dinner I showed my military ID as always expecting to receive my 10 percent discount as I always receive. Not this evening. I am told I ordered off a senior menu and already received my discount. They showed me where I ordered an site enough in TINY print , senior discount. This is the first time in years that this has happened. I asked to speak to a Mngr. A Marni Brown responded. He could care less what I had to say. $1.45 discount on a meal for military ( VA hospital across the street) This Manager would rather argue and loose $30.00 worth of business a week than give a $1.40 military discount . Guess that’s why only a few of these places exist. ( wonderful business sense) …

Very clean with good food. Ate the meatloaf dinner which was very good. We also had breakfast a couple of times. Service is excellent. Staff very friendly. The manager is a hard working young man. Observed him greeting customers, seating them, picking up dirty dishes, directing staff. He had a smile on his face all the time. Customer service at its best. I'm sure he has respect from fellow employees.

Been here two times (Thursday, then the following Monday. Both times were very good. The restaurant is large, airy and clean. The servers are friendly, efficient and professional. That makes for a good start of the day. Went at 9 in the morning both times. My friend always ordered two medium poached eggs, hash browns and either an English muffin or sourdough toast and coffee. Her breakfast looks delicious and she says that it is. With the purchase of coffee you get your choice of a small juice. Nice touch. My idea of breakfast is a bit different. I tried the 1/2 ham & cheese sandwich on lightly toasted wheat and a salad with a side of blue cheese and ranch dressing. My sandwich was exactly what I wanted and the salad was fresh. Very good. The second visit I went with a 1/2 tuna salad sandwich with tomato on lightly toasted wheat bread. The salad was not as fresh as before but I expect they would get their fresh produce delivery that day (Monday). I liked both sandwiches equally. The menu is expansive and reasonably priced. The hostess greets you immediate. All in all, a very nice experience. There is free parking and safe easy in and out.
