Beautiful white sand and warm water make this a great place to walk in the surf. It seems to be less popular than other beaches in the area, perhaps due to the rocks that jut from the water, but that also means it is generally less crowded. For someone like me who does not go to the beach to swim, it is perfect. Parking is close and inexpensive, though only one ticket machine worked, and it only takes a card. Many small seashells to be found. If it wasn't nearly 100°, I would've gladly walked for hours in the lapping surf.

All around Spectacular! ⛱️ sugar sand. Blue water and sky's vary:) Right now black skimmers are breeding and nesting! Please give they room. 🐦 also fill large holes, Sea turtle nesting also!! We live in paradise! Let's keep it that way! And please please pick up your garbage 🗑 🙄 🇺🇸 let's keep it clean! Thanks from Mother Nature 💓🇺🇸🏖🌊🏖

I frequently visit this beach, crowds and parking depend on the time of year. I mostly am able to get parking in the lot because it rarely gets too crowded. I’ve seen dolphins while swimming here in April! You will also frequently see people fishing where the water is low, and lots of birds to watch too.

I do not know if it is dog friendly but that day that we went I did see one dog but he was on a leash and the owner had a small Cabana over the dog , you may want to check with Redington Beach.

Fish yes, surf would depend on how big the waves are...it's usually fairly flat. Definitely great for stand up paddle board though!
