Always a good bet to head to Rusty Bellies in Tarpon Springs for seafood! Their menu gets pretty consistent updates so even as a local and a somewhat regular there are new dishes to explore. We visited on a Tuesday night at 9pm just as the live music was winding down. We sat on the very pleasant outdoor deck. Pleasant as its August and an inferno in Florida, they had some strong wind moving fans out there and it felt like Fall. We were seated promptly and brought out their signature hush puppies piping hot. Our server was pleasant, friendly and eager to help. We ordered some of the newer dishes and were not disappointed. We will be back!

Hands down, the best seafood we have had in a long time. Not only is the food great, but the atmosphere and service great too. Try to get a seat outside on the covered patio overlooking the water. Gorgeous.

Best seafood I’ve had in a long time! The wait times can be a little long, we waited 1-1/2 hours before we can be seated. I recommend calling ahead or setting up a reservation online. The food was absolutely worth the wait. We got outdoor seating. The fish dip from the appetizer was great. Servers were awesome and we will definitely be going back. Prices aren’t crazy either. The area was also nice to walk around if you haven’t been to Tarpon Springs.

Awesome seafood at the end of the sponge docks. The place is busy so there is a wait, however you can go online and put your name on the wait list to save time. They had a nice tent area with chairs for waiting. We had snow crab legs that were very good and fresh. The ribeye steak was really juicy and cooked perfectly. The fried Brussels sprouts were very tasty also. The view from the upstairs outside seating area was nice to watch the boats and water while eating.
