Update- I went back to try this place again. The service was good, but the food quality has dropped substantially. I ordered the crab soup and it was broth but no crab. The applesauce was not good at all. The rest of the food was eh..ok. I can cook better than this at home. I recommend raising the prices and improve the food quality!! First review - The service was much better than is typical in the area. The food and the service was very good. The best part of the meal was the homemade bread! My pork chops were tasty but salty, especially when I asked for light salt. The reason that this restaurant is only rated as average is because of the contemporary christian music blaring during dinner. I have no problem with anyone enjoying whatever music that they are into. I respect people who are religious! However, you are not doing your business, or others who are not into that music, any favors by forcing them to listen to that extremely boring and mundane genre of music. Play easy listening or something light, have a good group of service staff amd show a good christian attitude and you will win more people to Christ instead of force feeding them that awful music. Change the music, or eliminate it, and my rating will increase to a minimum of a 4.

Not the same old special place to eat. Ok food but not great like it use to be.

Our go to place when I visit my Mom. Pot pie is very good. So are turkey dinners. Lacking in desserts sine the new owners took over but that's not a big deal to us.
