It's been awhile since coming to this store. I have to say it looks a lot more organized. It doesn't look as dismal as before. The meat market in the back has always been the reason I enter the establishment in the first👍🏾

They had a hugh vegetable greens line but not diversified in new fruit/veg. from other countries. Peoples, seniors in the aisle heard complaining about missing fruits levels. Not like the pictured ads show. In the past they had fish fry replaced with Mexican American style lacking in seasoning and taste. Exhibited Krunch Chicken who prices are sky high with limited pcs amounts. Believe me their were no long food lines. It was very clean including the smell along with high grocery prices sseing its a retired people area.

came here on 12-21-2021 to Gonzales to receive a money gram and the guy that was assisting me looked at my passport and said that I look fat.... that was an insult to me based on the fact that I am not fact and that is not good customer service at all, it was the guy with the black Bennie on and black security jacket but he wasn’t doing security he was a teller at Gonzales grocery store here in East Oakland on off 73rd I hope his boss speak with him family member it not and teach him how to keep his thoughts to his self while working in and with the public.

Excellent produce dept. for a small grocery store. They also have a very diverse selection of products; reflecting the customer base. The fresh meat counter isn't bad and they carry a great selection of spices and herbs.

Yes cuz alley does have Jamaican products they got just about every culture and whatever you looking for that unique you will find it
You must wear a mask to come into the store all the employees are wearing mask they're only allowing a certain amount of people in the store at a time everything is kept clean and sanitized if you're buying meat from the meat department you must purchase it in the meat department you are not allowed to get your meats and walk around the store with it and then pay for it up front everything is paid for there and the meet department all safety requirements are in place the store is kept very clean and if you have any other questions I would say call the store and I'm sure that they will answer your questions for you but as a customer I would definitely go back to make my purchases there anytime I happen to be in California this is a really nice store
