Beautifully located with outstanding art exhibits, the Highland Center for the Arts is a special Vermont spot. Check out the Sunday morning cocktails with a gaggle of girlfriends. Sit outside on the stone patio and take in the big Vermont sky. At noon visit the gallery. Its a Vermont gem.

Great art exhibits, music and lectures. All this in a magical setting.

Beautiful building but Cafe was a major disappointment. Be sure to arrive when they are serving off the menu; we arrived and was told to order off the snack menu, which was not very good. I had the fritatta which was pretty tasteless even with the addition of lots of salt and pepper - they should remove that from the menu. The side salad it came with was very fresh, but had to ask for more dressing since it was barely there. Others had the cheese plate which was good, and the vegetarian chili which was not bad. Service was indifferent, we had to ask for water and coffee refills. The building is beautiful, the art exhibit very good, too bad the highly recommended Cafe was a bust.

A well appointed theatre where I have not yet had the opportunity to attend a concert. A fascinating art exhibit in the glass surrounded lobby. Opened in 2017, a friend brought me there to have lunch - crepes of interesting varieties, desserts that were so tempting, you wanted at least two! I’m from New York, but returned again that season, just for lunch. This year, a disappointment. The chef has changed. Lunch menu was drab and uninspired. The desert choices were paltry. Enjoy the art - and perhaps the programs. Don’t make a special trip for the food.
