Most staff membets are out of their element. This place really needs mature kind hearted Case Managers and management in general, who is capable of putting themselves in their clients shoes. Clients need to feel welcomed and treated with respect. Chain of command...it starts from the top! Upper management ignores how staff treats their clients. Lot of favoritism happening!!

This place is fine for a while but when it gets close to your exit date, you no longer see your case manager and if you still haven't found a place they don't care they still kick you out. The so call list that you have to be calling to see if you can get into another shelter is a lie. There is no waiting list.. Plus they keep your security deposit no matter how you leave your room..

I appreciated almost everyone there for all their help. I really do Except for my case worker Caroline Hernandez who did NOTHING WHATSOEVER TO HELP. PRETTY USELESS AS A WORKER. Still hear she doesn't help much and more so now that everyone that worked there before is no longer there and shes alone. Good luck to everyone that has her as a worker. Ask for Nishma. She ACTUALLY talks to you AND TRIES to help.

Great staff and service they provide. It was 1st time I volunteered there came to know about the services they provide for needy people. The staff were very nice and kind towards all. They have cleanly and pleasant environment inside. I made and distributed goodie bags for childrens there as it was Diwali and Halloween Day. Again if I get chance I would definitely volunteer. Cheer'SS :)

Thank u all. I just dnt wanna end up risking a roof over my family's head because i smoke weed.
Family Supportive Housing is AWESOME but they only accept families. LIFEMOVES accepts single females and their waitlists seem to be a little shorter. Georgia Travis House is one and The Villas is the other. Both are LIFEMOVES and both will give shelter to single females and families. You can Google the phone numbers. God Bless you and stay positive ❤❤
They are to help get you on your feet. 3 months is long enough to do that. It's not a permanent place.
Call the number and then call every day till you get scheduled for intake. Its 90 day program so definately call at 10 am every day im here now and its a blessing
Yes they take donations just call
Yes they do.
Yes why?
They told me i would be on a 2nd time waitlist..but means they have to go thru all 1st timers first. Which means i never will be called.
They use to have one at the old facility but not where they are now.
They would allow you to stay with an out of state I.D but as of right now there under recontruction and wont be accepting any clients until mid october.
I believe this shelter only accepts families
24/7
Its a great place to help family save up some money and help them with many housing resources.
Yes they encourge u to find job.if u go to commercial street inn no u don't got to pay but save money ..family supportive housing on King road yes u have to pay 50$ deposite when u first go but have 10days n every month u gotta pay 170
Family supportive housing is great and for 90 days. I just left today. They have case manager to help you better yourself to get a home and save money. Hope you get in.
Yes they will accept. Call them and drop off
Family Supportive housing is a family shelter, so you have to have children. Lifemoves Georgia Travis House is a single women's shelter. You will have to start working once you move in and you must pass a drug test upon entry.
They must have children in order to receive services
Iam pretty sure they can accept donations.
I believe as long as they are new they should.
If doxies are dogs you maybe out of luck. This shelter does not accept animals.
Go over there help her and is son
No a positive test for marijuana will not affect your chance of getting help...
Its a free hot meals for people who live in the shelter
Yes this is not a problem
Yes. Even if you have a cannibas card they will deny you. And it sucks ass...You can try. I believe card and proof its for medical reasons might allow it
Try Bill Wilson Center look it up online
You have to have a child or children or custody of a minor in order to qualify.
