Lovely staff that is VERY patient with at times horribly rude clients. Related: The most friendly person walking the streets of downtown Palo Alto is the United States Postal Service's long time serving and devoted mailman called Jesse who is based out of the 380 Hamilton Ave office.

Once more, this location continues to be terrible. The young woman who helped me made rude expressions every time I didn’t hear her or didn’t understand her. I’m already confused by the USPS processes and her lack of support and kindness made the trip that much worse. This was a week ago and I’m still bothered by her incredulous expressions and personal vendetta to make my visit a horrible one. It’s unfortunate that this is the only location open on Saturdays because it’s the worst use of government space in Palo Alto.

It’s a gamble with USPS, which is usually why I stick to UPS but when I need to use it, well I’ve had some staff that are nice but most are rude and want you out as fast as possible and are very hard to understand from my experience. Proceed at your own risk!

Great post office. Open on Saturday and has friendly, helpful, and professional staff. Also way more affordable than UPS and FedEx. Even dogs love this place!

There should be # on Notice for you yo call? The delivery notice should have some kind of Reference # they can trace, maybe?
Some postal routes only deliver to businesses. We start delivering at 7am until 8pm, approximately. if you are at the end of the route, it could be a late delivering.
Same as regular size envelope, however please double check with clerks at post office.
