Wanting to shop locally I went to this store to get some lumber , paid for and selecting the wood I wanted !!! the owner comes and tells me not to select anymore, just take everything as it comes, (if you’re taking all the good ones what do I do with the rest) he said !!! So because this material was for a important project I couldn’t do that . Seeing that he was dead serious, I asked for a refund and just left to never go back there again. He has the right to do that , but I had the right to shop somewhere else. It’s up to us consumers to keep going or not to a store Like that.

Called for to get a price on some wood. I was given a hard time accompanied with bitter attitude. The service was terrible. I hung up the phone without receiving a price. Said the wood would more than likely need to be milled and refused to give me a per piece price. Stated that no one would give me a per piece price without the quantity needed. I called 84 lumber and received a per piece price in 30 minutes. I routinely build my own furniture pieces. I will not be buying from these guys for supplies.

I needed help with a small piece of composite decking and Johnny W was eager to provide me with some exceptional customer service. If ML provides that level of customer care for my little project, I can only imagine what type of service they would give to a larger more detailed endeavor. Thank you for your service.

I’ve perchased lumber from these guys a few times with little trouble. Unfortunately this time I looked into my invoice and found some discrepancies. These guys told me one price over the phone and I paid with a card right then. When I got my invoice, they charged $6.20 more per board. When I went back in to ask about it, there response was “we don’t need you to come back”. My response was “I don’t plan too”, which I meant. Pour business practice. Very pour business practices.
