Awesome hike and awesome view.. I loved it..I took the Appalachian trail up and the gravel road down.. beware with the gravel road.. that road is very steep and you are almost running down.. make sure you check your shoe breaks.. other wise you are gonna roll down like human ball..

Great hike if you need a easy to moderate hike. You can take the road to the observatory and get to Pulpit Rock very easy or take the AP trail if you want a bit more of a challenge. Then head up to The Pinnacle if you want a truly amazing view. Come early as parking gets out of hand later in the morning

If you like hiking, you will love this. When you start out go to the right. Take the trail up the hill.( follow the white markers). Once at the top take the relaxing straight downhill route.

Have to hike. It's a great walk up though! Bring plenty of water and some snacks.
If you do the loop plan on about 4 hours, half of it is on the AT trail, the other half is on a logging trail road. That is also taking a 30 minute lunch at the Pinnacle.
