Awesome destination location with 14 different vendors serving great wine and various wine based refreshments. Food trucks on weekends. Beautiful grounds with area for weddings. Located along the Sacramento River in an old Sugar Mill in river Town of Clarksburg, Ca. This place looks like a Disney attraction place in the vineyards. A MUST VISIT if you are out in the Sacramento, Elk Grove area. Accessible from the Delta area along route 160 or off the 5 across the Freeport Bridge.

Rachelle, Christy and team at the Old Sugar Mill where such a pleasure to work with. Their professionalism and dedication were outstanding. Their genuine energy and deep love for what they do showed from the very first phone call to the day of the wedding. Rachelle’s ability to really listen to what we wanted our special day to be and then to take what we said and bring it to fruition was perfection. Planning a wedding is stressful enough but planning a wedding during a pandemic?! Crazy! The team at the Old Sugar Mill made the whole process feel seamless! It’s was like working with best friends and when the wedding was over I missed them all so much! We have received so many compliments on the venue and have been told that it’s was the best wedding people had been to. If we could give Rachelle and team a million stars, we would do so without blinking an eye. Five is just not enough to rate how amazing this group of people are! From the bottom of our hearts, Thank You…….for everything!

As a wedding coffee caterer we are in love with the Old Sugar Mill. The venue is lovely and we enjoy working with the friendly staff. Old Sugar Mill makes for a superb wedding and reception site.Rachelle Wiggins, the venue wedding coordinator makes sure all the details are in place for your perfect day. Check out her Wine Down Wednesday series on Instagram where she interviews local vendors for your wedding!

The perfect place to hobnob after th pandemic. We had our Family Day there. It was a good day for the winery also, we took home our share of wine. The website does not do to well telling the story, maybe my photos will. Smiles!

I've never actually eaten in Clarksburg after wine tasting. But the OSM will have food trucks, they have at least one every day, unless by some odd coincidence they both have to cancel. You'll be able to see the schedule on the event section of the website. Also, they don't allow outside food but you can take food and eat it by your car. You just can't take it in and you can't take a bottle of wine out to your car to have with your meal.
Sorry have no. Idea, but call the Mill and ask
Yes
Extended Stay America 2.6 miles, Holiday Express 3.0 miles, Hampton Inn 2.7 miles.
There are food trucks, but no fixed restaurant
The American Crystal Sugar Company processed sugar beats there from 1936 to 1982.
I work at one of the Wineries in the Boiler Room, part of the Old Sugar Mill. All 15 wineries will be open on Sat the 16 th. There will be live music and many sales at various wineries.
