Concord is the best. Great communication and fabulous craftmanship! I had a very expensive Frederick Cooper shade that isn't made anymore. The lining had dry rotted and I really didn't want to buy a generic shade; I wanted mine restored. Concord replaced the lining and it looks brand new. Amazing that they could do this. Any future work is definitely going to Concord.

Excellent. They go out of their way to help you. I wanted to match two silk drum shades that had rotted from old age. They did. It's a small shop and full of lamps and shades, but they can order custom made shades too. The clerk was very pleasant even with a store full of people waiting on a Saturday. I highly recommend them and hope someday they open a shop in Concord, NH!

It was wonderful dealing with this company. My favorite Waterford lamp shade's inside lining became ripped. The proprietor, Ann Eckert, was a delight and answered my questions and gave me alternatives to replace or reline the shade. She quoted me the prices for both alternatives in a detailed email that explained the work that would be needed to be done.. I choose to reline the lamp shade. The work was completed and shipped back to me when promised. I could not be more pleased with the result. It looks like a brand new lamp. Thank You Concord Lamp & Shade

This store is a gem! The owner Ann is very helpful and knowledgable about all things lamps and shades. I needed help rehabing an old Tiffany style lamp and Ann helped me get it up and running. Concord Center is so charming and Concord Lamp and Shade is a wonderful resource and COVID friendly!

Thank you for asking about our COVID safety practices. We have taken COVID very seriously, and work very hard to ensure all of our customers have a safe and productive experience. With respect to our practices, first, we are open by appointment only, and allow only one person / party in the store at a time. Our space is too small to accommodate multiple parties. Second, we offer Curb side drop off and pickups; you don't have to enter the store if you prefer not to do so. Third, we ask that all parties sanitize before touching any of our merchandise. And, finally, we do clean / disinfect common surfaces periodically. If you have further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us directly. Ann
Yes we do, but because there is no standard replacement, it would be most efficient to bring the lamp with you when you visit the store so that we can make sure it fits! And, as you might know, we are open Monday - Saturday, 10-5, but because of COVID, we are open by appointment only. Yes we do! The type of shade that I think you are looking for is one that is relatively flat and has what we refer to as a "chimney fitter". We do stock this type of lampshade in various sizes. Thank you for asking! Ann
Yes we do! We repair lamps as well as light fixtures, new lights as well as antique lights. Typical turnaround time is one week. Thank you for asking!
