Had an excellent experience at the Brickmakers Cafe. The venue was extremely clean. Service was friendly and affable. The food was fantastic - both Brickmaker Burgers and Shrimp Po' Boy - perfectly made, and tasted outstanding. Outside patios provided comfortable seating and we were allowed to have our dog with us - super excellent added bonus! This location is HIGHLY recommended - and we will for sure be back soon!!!

If you’re driving here for brunch or just to eat, I’d recommend you go somewhere else. It’s fine for a bite after kayaking or hiking, but it’s not a sit down cafe with service. If you want another drink you’ll need to wait fifteen minutes in line to order again. When we did get to order, we were told there was a “forty minutes or more” wait.. for two hot dogs. Bottom line don’t come here unless you’re hungry after activities in the park itself. Occoquan is just a few minutes away with actual cafes.

Great spot for lunch in a new structure on a beautiful location overlooking the Occoquan River. Lots of sandwich, wrap, and salad choices. Well prepared food. Reasonably priced. The outdoor seating area is just lovely, absolutely wonderful on a pretty day. Nice clean modern restrooms.

Mitch in the salad was a bit rude and dirt, when I showed it to the them, the lady who was in charge said this is normal because it comes from the dirt. I said who expects to see this rotten vegetable in the plate? If I could I would give them 0 star but I couldn’t.
