We’ve eaten here several times. The food is consistently great. This time, however, the waitress was new and the service was lousy. It happens. The seafood is always fresh and they have lobsters in many sizes. Portions are generally on the large size. Prices are moderately high but for the type of good served they’re actually pretty reasonable.

Arrived at about 4:30PM for the annual birthday ribeye and was not disappointed in the least. Popular place, reasonable selection of meat/seafood and good presentation. The acoustics made things a little loud in the dining area, but...it a bar...on a Saturday...with beautiful motorcycle weather...and good steak! What else would one expect? And they have live music and outdoor seating!

One of our favorite restaurants to go to, when up in this area. Prices, unfortunately, have gone way up. Maybe too much. Especially seafood. Just couldn't justify spending the amounts they were asking for lobster & scallops, when I know there's a place, closer to home either offering better prices or bigger portions for the same price. So I settled for the haddock, which was very good, along with a cup of clam chowder.

We've been to lobster pounds all week from Lottery to Bar Harbor and between, and feel like we have our taste buds tuned. Makris was fine for what it is: a "fine-value" seafood restaurant. It doesn't pretend to be fancy, and lives up to that expectation. . I had the lobster roll, the fifth in a week. The "hot buttered" lobster was chilled and I couldn't detect butter. Tasted good, but wasn't what I ordered. My wife's baked haddock and scallops was good. I envied how much butter she had. . We had lemon meringue pie, and it was very meh. At least it was cheap. . The service was great though. That bumped this review from a 3-star to 4.

Sure they will with notice , fantastic restaurant !
Go into the retail side and they should be able to give you one
I doubt it... during the day they might there's a lot of movement in around the restaurant.. but if they where the seafood would go bad. Think like this in a off season how many ppl will eat there from Dec-march not much so it be more cost to keep it open then to jus shut down for a few months. Plus trucking food in bad weather, would create an 86 menu more often. Then u lose business. Head to the coast for seafood in winter Maine, Portsmouth, Gloucestah, boston, fall river, new Bedford etc.. happy hunting or fishing rather...
No.
They're market prices. I would call.
We are currently serving outside on nice days. So far that’s all we have been lucky to have.
Everyone there is so friendly and helpful. The food was great! We had the sea food dish and it was full of fish, clams, shrimp, and not a ton of French fries. A nice amount of onion rings and French fries. It was awesome!
Prices are good, and the market prices are posted everywhere so you don't have to ask. They also have great specials every day. We got $9.99 fish + seconds last Friday
None. If you consider Salad as vegetarian? Its a bar and not pleased with their food. Its decent.
I think it was in the early 1990's
Yes
Not required but not a bad thing to do anyways to be safe
